2019 was certainly a noteworthy year for Klazmer Financial Group – we marked our 65th anniversary and introduced the third generation into our firm!
According to the Family Firm Institute, only about 30% of family businesses survive into the second generation and a mere 12% are viable into the third.[1] While these numbers can be daunting, there is no great secret to our success – we adhere closely to the principles first established by our founder, Bernie Klazmer:
- Take all of the time required to fully understand our clients’ unique goals and needs
- Develop and recommend creative programs that we would personally choose if we were in our client’s position
- Identify the providers that can deliver those programs on the most-cost effective basis
- Serve as an advocate for our clients and aggressively negotiate on their behalf
- Communicate openly and honestly with our clients and their professional advisors at all times
- Provide our clients and their professional advisors with first-class service
We anticipate that 2020 will be another year to remember, with the unveiling of our new website, our move to our new offices in Bala Cynwyd, the launch of our online commentary, Industry Insights – of which this is the inaugural entry – and the further integration of Jason, Adam and Andrew into Klazmer Financial Group.
We are proud of all that we have accomplished for our clients over the last 65 years and we are tremendously excited for our future together!
